Piedmont Newton Hospital, partnered with Newton Trails, is hosting a Walk with the Doc event on Tuesday, October 24 at 5:30 p.m. Erica Scott, MD, a general surgeon who recently joined Piedmont Newton, will be this walk’s featured healthcare professional. Piedmont Newton to Host First Flu Shot Drive-Thru

Conyers Rotary Funds Innovative RCPS projects

The Conyers Rotary Club recently funded two innovative and creative classroom projects in Rockdale County Public Schools (RCPS) – one by Rockdale Magnet School for Science and Technology teacher Diana Kennen and one by Program Challenge teacher Tonya Jones. The Program Challenge is a gifted program housed at Flat Shoals Elementary. These projects were funded through RCPSpartner.com, a crowdfunding site for RCPS projects.
