Rockdale Emergency Relief (RER) received a donation in the amount of $475.00 from the East Metro Board of REALTORS (EMBORS) at their November meeting.
Cher Voyles, Vice Chair of the Community Service Committee, coordinated efforts because the RER program will continue helping our neighbors. It’s because of community partners like Sparks King Watts & Reddick, AmeriSpec Home Inspection, GA Virtual Tours & Photography, GAMLS, American Equity Home Inspection, and Luedar Larkin & Hunter, LLC that RER is able to help meet the needs of so many families.
The donation will be used to help people in the community who are experiencing unforeseen circumstances like food insecurity and homelessness, or are in need of utility assistance. People who are served at RER must show proof of residency in Rockdale County as well as provide a current drivers license and social security cards. The established process allows RER to serve people in need efficiently and use the money entrusted to them in the best manner possible.
