Returning to Augusta National to play in his First Major in three Years is Tiger Woods. I am very intrigued by the return of Tiger Woods. He is going for his fifth green jacket after missing 12 of the most recent major championships because of his injury. Can he still win? Does he still have it? At 42 years of age, will his body hold up? Is he mentally healed from all the personal issues? The definitive answers are days away.
I can’t wait. This tournament gets me fired up about the game of golf no matter who’s playing. Of course, I’ll be pulling for my favorites like Phil, Jordon, Snedeker but I hope Tiger is at least in the mix. From the way he has started out the year, you can count on it. The younger guys have never had a dose of the old Tiger staring them down with that ice-cold look. Something I’m sure Phil would shrug off, especially coming from a win at the WGC- Mexico a couple of weeks ago. I was so proud of him. He’s such a class act.
Fortunate to visit Heaven on earth? I’m sure you will stop by the souvenir shop. So bring your wallet. I hear the average spend at the shop is $800. Don’t forget Uncle Tony, Aunt Donna, your neighbor or your boss or anybody that knows you went because they will never let you forget it. Sucker!
Welcome Master’s. We all need your rejuvenating spirit that excites every one of us to play this crazy game called Golf.
Come On Dad! This year is your year for the long-lost Hole in One. I can feel it.
Till Next Tee Time
